MAda Puppet Theater and Gallery July Events
World renowned MAda Shell Gallery on the Plaza in Ashland Oregon, has moved across the hall from its original location at 27 1/2 E. Main street ! Owners Amy Godard and Eric Navickas are pleased to announce its Grand Re-Opening as the MAda Puppet Theater and Gallery. Come join us for puppet plays and art during the month of July.
Puppet play "The Magic Orange Tree" is a Haitian tale about a young girl who finds a magic orange seed. This production, a fundraiser for Haitian earthquake survivors, weaves story, song, and color shadow puppets into a magical experience with color and light. Show times are Saturdays July 10th and July 17th with showings at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 7 p.m. with Sunday matinees, July 18th at 2 p.m. and 3 pm. Pre sale tickets will be on sale July 2nd from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. during the first friday art walk.
For First Friday July 2nd MAda Puppet Theater and Gallery has invited artist Catie Faryl to show her series of 13 moon paintings titled "Shrine to the Lost Pollinators". Reception is Friday July 2nd from 5-9 p.m.
