MAda Shell Gallery Opens Show for Victims of Sexual Assault

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and the MAda Shell Gallery will be hosting "Hearts and Hopes Illuminated" a new group show featuring artists from Sexual Assault Survivors' Healing (SASH) group. SASH is a free support group for survivors of sexual assault, rape and molestation that meets weekly in both Ashland and Medford. This show will also include "The Clothesline Project", as well as a participatory community art piece. Please join us by speaking out against sexual assault; America 's 'silent violent epidemic'.

Two opening receptions are to be held last Friday MArch 26th and First Friday April 2nd from 5-9 pm. MAda Shell Gallery is located upstairs on the plaza at 27 1/2 E. Main #7.

MAda Shell Gallery invites you to "Closet Door", March 5th 2010 from 5-9. "Closet Door" explores concepts in minimal and conceptual art and invites viewers to a more phenomenological view towards art. Entertainment begins around 6:00pm with Spirit Load.
